NUST Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Admissions:


  • Students willing to get admission in NUST undergraduate programs must have a minimum 60% marks in Matric (SSC) and FSC (HSSC) or equivalent.
  • Students having 60% marks in FSC (Part-I) can apply for the NUST (NET) test, however, confirmation of admission will be made after proving the final mark sheet.
  • Students having O/A Level or any other foreign qualification can apply for NUST admission on the basis of O level (SSC) equivalency certification obtained from IBCC, however, admission will be confirmed after submitting A levels equivalency certificate obtained from IBCC.
  • Students with O/A level background have to submit equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.

    EngineeringFSC (Pre-Engineering, ICS and Pre-medical with add Maths) are eligible to apply for Engineering programs.O level equivalency of Science group and A level equivalency of Pre-Engineering with Maths, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subject are eligible to apply for Engineering programs.
    BS Computer ScienceFSC (Pre-Engineering and ICS) are eligible to apply for Computer Science programs.O level equivalency of Science group and A level equivalency of Pre-Engineering or Computer Science group with Maths, Physics Chemistry/ Computer Science/Computer Studies as mandatory subject are eligible to apply for Computer Sciences programs.
    BS Applied BiosciencesFSC (Pre-Medical) are eligible to apply for Applied Biosciences programs.O level equivalency of Science group and A level equivalency of Pre-Medical or any other group having Biology as mandatory subject are eligible to apply for Applied Bioscience programs.
    BBA, BS Economics, BS Mass Communication, BS Public Administration, BS PsychologyFSC with any combination are eligible to apply for BBA, BS Economics, BS Mass Communication, BS Public Administration, BS PsychologyO/A Level’s equivalency with any combination are eligible to apply for BBA, BS Economics, BS Mass Communication, BS Public Administration, BS Psychology
    BS Accounting & FinanceFSC with MATHS or Accounting and Finance or Accountancy as one of the major subject are eligible to apply for BS Accounting & FinanceO/A Level’s equivalency with MATHS or Accounting and Finance or Accountancy as one of the major subject are eligible to apply for BS Accounting & Finance
    BS MathematicsFSC with MATHSO/A level with MATHS as major subject
